Vidya Subh Arambh Sankar for new students

On 7th April today we strated our new session with a "Vidya Subh Arambh Sanskar Yajna" which was done by HG Raghunath Prabhu with his team from Mayapur and BGIS. The yajna took place in the New temple hall basement.
In the beginning of the ceremony this yajna was performed and the blessings of the lord was saught by reciting shlokas.
This initiative was taken by our principal Shri Narayani Mataji and CAO HG Radhakant prabhu by which the whole atmosphere became very positive.
In this yajna we performed Narsimha homa as well as offered prayers to Vidya devi Saraswati and asked blessing from her to prepare for a new beginning of their academic session. By this they will get physically fit, mentally alert and spiritually connected. It also symbolise hope and optimism. As humanity is passing through the challenging times of pandemic, only hope and optimism can lead us to the other side of the tunnel.
The program was followed by the prize distribution ceremony of Annual sports which was held last week. Winners were awarded with medals and prizes. Winning team received trophy from our principal.
Children cheered up and congratulated all the winners.
We had Prize distribution ceremony of Annual sports day on 7th April. Our Principal Shri Narayani Mataji facilitated the winners with Medals and Trophies.
As we know sports help in the overall development of students. Playing sports teaches lessons of life, such as teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, responsibility, and self-discipline. Keeping this in mind our students has also participated in Annual sports day 2022 very enthusiastically.
We had outdoor games like Volleyball, Football, Badminton etc also there were Indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis etc.
In Volleyball we had team GOVERDHAN as winner. In kabaddi we had VRINDAVAN(Junior) and BARSANA(Senior) as winning team.
In Football NANDGAO and VRINDAVAN for Junior and Senior respectively.
For Table tennis and chess we have got both the team as winners. VRINDAVAN & NANDAGAO.
There were other sports activity like 200m and 100m race as well as Long Jump and High Jump which was for both middle school and senior boys. They have performed really well in this and have received huge no of medals.
At the end there was a thrilling kabbadi match followed by esctatic tug of war where we have got our winning team VRINDAVAN & BARSANA for junior and senior respectively.
And the tug of war was won by the team BARSANA!!!!
The overall performance of all the teams were very appreciable and commendable. But among all, the overall highest score was made by NANDAGAU Team with 941 points and they were declared as the winning team of this overall Annual Sports Meet 2022.
