The Students of BGIS celebrated the appearance day of Lord Narasimha “Narasimha Chaturdashi” in our beautiful Vrindaranyam campus. It is deemed that on this day lord Narasimha appeared to protect Bhaktraaj Prahalad maharaja from his demoniac father Hiranyakashyipu and to kill all the assailants of Prahlada Maharaja.

Also few IITians from IIT Mandi payed a visit to our campus including some devotees from ISKCON Vrindavan on this auspicious occasion.
Gurukula boys along with IITian’s also visited ancient Narasimha Dev Temple, Govardhan and a few went for Mangala Arti of ISKCON too. We had Mahaabhishekam, Yajna and Kirtan in our Vrindaranyam campus also which was attended by the rest of the students and staff. Furthermore, Students watched Live Abhishekam of Mayapur Temple accompanied by Kirtan and Prayers to Lord Narasimha and then they had a very nice Mahaprasadam.
