A very special day for ISKCON as they joyfully glorify Srila Prabhupada, the founder Acharya of ISKCON, on the anniversary of his appearance in this world. BGIS celebrated 126 th birth anniversary of HDG Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swamy Srila Prabhupada in its campus with much enthusiasm.
For BGIS the day started with Mangala arti, followed by Tulsi arti and guru puja led by Radhakant Prabhuji and Leela Govind Prabhuji, Dhruv Maharaj. Though the children were tired they got up early to take part in the glorification of Srila Prabhupada. We had special guest HG Hyagriva Prabhuji, many senior devotees glorified Prabhupad and shared his profound influence in their lives and prayed for blessing from him on this divine day. All the dignitaries present shared the divine influence of Prabhupada in their lives.
Many students, staff read out their offerings to Srila Prabhupad. Everyone observed fasting till noon. Vaishnava bhajan Oye Vaishnava Thakur was sung by Hyagriva Prabuji to which all of them present swayed in ecstacy and Dhruv Maharaj accompanied him , followed by
pushpanjali. All the students, staff and guests assembled in the temple offered puspanjali to srila Prabhupad , praying to give him strength and bless them to follow In his footsteps of pleasing the spiritual master. The program ended with delicious feast prasadam.
