On January 26, 2025, Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School BGIS came together to celebrate Republic Day with great patriotism, unity, and devotion. The day was a reminder of our nation’s glorious history, its cultural richness, and the values of freedom and responsibility that guide us forward.
The celebration began with the honorable Flag Hoisting Ceremony, where our tricolor fluttered proudly in the morning breeze. The spectacular parade on the school grounds reflected the discipline, spirit, and pride of our students as they marched with enthusiasm and determination.
The celebrations continued with a vibrant cultural program at Krishna Sudama Hall, where our talented students showcased heartfelt speeches honoring the legacy and journey of our great nation. Graceful dance performances reflected the diversity and beauty of India’s cultural heritage, while energizing yoga performances demonstrated the importance of health, balance, and inner strength. The soulful singing of devotional and national songs uplifted the patriotic spirit of all present.
The event concluded with an empowering address by our Principal, who reminded us of our duties as responsible citizens. Emphasizing Srila Prabhupada’s vision of character-building education, he encouraged students to lead with integrity, serve with humility, and uphold the values of Dharma.
