The Annual event preceding Janmashtami, “KRISHNANUSHILANAM” had a wonderful advent at the new 70 acres campus of Bhaktivedanta Gurkula & International School. We, at the Gurukula proudly hosted a two day Inter School event, where almost 13 Schools from Mathura district had participated overwhelmingly.
Schools like Rajiv International, Elite International, Heritage Public School, Kanha Makhan Public School and many more graced the event with their wonderful performances in the Skit and Dance competitions organized at our campus.
The students from all these School’s presented their intellect on the spiritual aspect by being exceptional orators during the Extempore Speech competition based on the Krishna Book. They also scored exuberantly in the Krishna quiz, submitting an outstanding example of being spiritually educated.
We felt honoured by the gracious presence of the famous TV actor - Mr. Deep Jaitley, Industrialist - Mr. Dilip Modi and Director of GLA University - Mr. Anup Kumar Gupta, who enhanced the charm of the event. We also thank our Director Leela Purshottam Prabhu, who has been a source of inspiration for all of us. Thanks to all the schools for their co-operation and participation and finally to the staff and students of BGIS for being the torch bearers of the spectacular event.
