First Day of School at New BGIS Campus

More than four decades of endless strive towards excellence is finally here. The BGIS has come a long way since 1975 when it was founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Today the Gurukula has reached a historical milestone when they held their first congregation on the first day of new school session at the new campus, as the teachers and around 300 students gathered together at the assembly ground of the academic building this morning. To commence the day, everyone sang the Gurukula Hymn, “Vrindavana Ramya Sthana” and chanted the Mangalacharan prayers. The Gurukula Principal, His Grace Harikesh prabhu ji greeted and welcomed everyone to the new campus, especially the new wave of Gurukula students.
It was a good day and a moment of celebration to start another school year in Gurukula. Everyone was excited, inspired and full of anticipation. The first assembly was a very meaningful transition for new students to make them feel comfortable and secured. The first day set the tone of trust and camaraderie within the school.
