Farewell to His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja: A Legacy of Devotion and Leadership

With a heavy heart, we announce that on 05-May-2024, at 9:20 am IST, His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja, one of the senior most disciples of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, has left this world.
Maharaja was a guiding force for many, serving as the ISKCON GBC Chairman and the GBC for Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School. He played a crucial role in establishing the new campus at Ajhai, Mathura—one of his favorite projects. His final temple project was in Dehradun, where he performed Bhumi Pujan before his passing. He was devoted to the instructions of his spiritual master Srila Prabhupada: to build the Temple and manage ISKCON.
Maharaj's Samadhi ceremony will take place at ISKCON Goshala, Vrindavan, today (06-May-2024) between 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Please join us in paying our respects and celebrating the life of a great devotee.
