"Lord Jagannatha is an ocean of mercy and He is beautiful like a row of blackish rain clouds. He is the storehouse of bliss for Lakshmi and Sarasvati, and His face is like a spotless full-blown lotus. He is worshiped by the best of demigods and sages, and His glories are sung by the Upanishads. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision."
The Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School celebrated the festival of Lord Jagannath’s Ratha Yatra yesterday, 12th of July, 2019 at the New Capus in Ajhai, Vrindavan.
The Gurukula boys, teachers and staffs gathered together yesterday to take part in the commemoration of the wonderful pastime of Lord Krishna. The deities of Lord Jagannath,Lord Baladev and Subhadra Devi were carried by the devotees and placed them in the chariot amidst the tumultuous chanting of the holy name. The cart was adorned by colorful flowers and festoons. After the offering of sacred articles and auspicious prayers, the students started to pull the cart. Lord Jagannath, Sri Balaram ji and Subhadra Devi were pulled around the campus premises accompanied by ecstatic singing and dancing. It was a mesmerizing sight and a blissful experience for everyone that they were extremely fortunate to be blessed by Lord Jagannath.
