On August 27, 2024, Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School was filled with devotion and joy as we celebrated the divine appearance day of His Divine Grace A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the beloved founder of our institution. The entire campus resonated with spiritual energy as students, teachers, and devotees gathered to honor this sacred occasion.
The celebration began early in the morning with enthusiastic preparations. Students and devotees came together to decorate the premises with fragrant flowers, vibrant garlands, and beautiful rangoli designs, creating an atmosphere of festivity and reverence. The day was further enriched with melodious kirtans, filling the air with the transcendental vibrations of the holy names.
We were blessed to have Urmila Devi Dasi, a dedicated disciple of Srila Prabhupada and the esteemed author of the Career Dharma books, grace the occasion with her presence. She shared her invaluable insights and experiences, inspiring students and faculty with her wisdom and deep connection to Srila Prabhupada’s teachings. Her words reminded us of the importance of education rooted in Krishna consciousness, a mission Srila Prabhupada envisioned for Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School.
The celebrations culminated with a heartfelt Prabhupada Puspanjali at the newly established temple. Devotees and students offered fragrant flower petals at Srila Prabhupada’s lotus feet, expressing their gratitude and devotion. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual bliss as everyone united in glorifying the life and teachings of Srila Prabhupada.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the devotees, students, faculty members, and guests who participated in making this event truly special. Your enthusiasm and dedication made this celebration a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience.
As we continue to walk on the path Srila Prabhupada laid for us, let us remain inspired by his unwavering dedication and love for Krishna. May his teachings guide us in our journey of devotion and service.
